Role of the Website

This is a private reference service. It does not hold the official records created by Piedmont Regional Jail, Amelia courts, the Virginia Department of Corrections, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, or ICE. It cannot confirm that a person is in custody, order or complete a release, change a record, give legal advice, or file a document with an agency or court.

Links and general explanations point toward official Amelia County and Virginia resources, along with third-party search tools. The agency that made a record remains responsible for its content. Direct all requests for certified documents, corrections, custody confirmation, or official action to that agency.

Acceptable Use Rules

Use the site lawfully and in a way that does not harm people, systems, or other visitors. Your access is conditioned on the following limits:

• Do not use the site while violating any local, state, federal, or other applicable law.
• Do not stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten anyone with information found through the site.
• Do not rely on site content for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another regulated decision.

Amelia County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not prepare background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Its advertising and search partners do not provide screening services through this site. By using the site, you agree not to use any information reached here for an FCRA-covered purpose, including:

• Hiring, firing, promotion, or any other employment decision
• Tenant selection, housing eligibility, or lease decisions
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance premiums and eligibility

Amelia County Released Inmates does not control or endorse their content, availability, privacy practices, data handling, accuracy, or security. Review the terms and privacy policy of each outside service before using it.

Service Provided As Is

The site, its content, and all functions are provided “as is” and “as available.” No express or implied warranty is made about:

• The accuracy, completeness, or current state of any information
• Continuous or uninterrupted access
• The absence of errors, defects, malicious code, or security weaknesses
• The scope, quality, or completeness of results supplied by a partner

Custody status, release events, court records, and public portals can change without notice. Nothing published here is an official statement from Piedmont Regional Jail, the Amelia County Sheriff's Office, VADOC, a court, or any other government agency. Verify material facts with the office that created the record.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Amelia County Released Inmates and its owners, operators, contributors, and partners will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from access to, use of, inability to use, or reliance on the site or any linked service. Your Duty to Indemnify

Rights in government records and third-party material remain with their lawful owners.

Suspension of Access

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court of proper jurisdiction located within Virginia.
